Pink Nose Studio is an artist’s business venture that specializes in the conversion of children’s artwork into fine-art oil paintings.

The logo describes the tactile quality of a dog’s wet nose while illustrating the gestural quality of the artist’s work.

For the logo I considered the slimy, wet texture of a dog nose and how best to convey playful curiosity and inquisitive nature.

PROCESS

The final image was created by dropping small amounts of India ink onto bristol board and then scanning the resulting splatters. Once traced in a vector art program, they were combined with a sketch of a dog’s nose that was drawn earlier.
